Job summary

Summer Garden Food Manufacturing in Ohio is seeking a loader operator to safely run loading equipment and support production lines. You will follow GMP, SQF, OSHA guidelines to ensure quality and food safety throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include changing over equipment, cleaning areas, operating a forklift, training temporary workers, and completing production paperwork while maintaining a safe work environment. High school diploma preferred; willingness to work in hot/cold environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• Basic math and measurement understanding.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader equipment safely to support production lines.
• Changeover and operate equipment in the retort work area.
• Clean and sanitize the work area and store cages safely.
• Perform operator level adjustments and preventative maintenance.
• Complete paperwork and touchscreen entries accurately.
• Direct and train temporary workers to complete tasks.
• Follow GMP, SQF, OSHA regulations and food safety practices.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack as needed (in-house training provided).
• Work under pressure, multi-task, and support team goals.
