Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push/pull materials up to 700 pounds.
• Able to read and write English fluently.
• Regularly required to talk, hear and see.
• Manual dexterity with hands and arms.
• Climbing ladders and stairs.
• Able to work in hot/humid and cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely and properly changeover and operate equipment in the retort work area.
• Clean and sanitize the immediate work area.
• Maintain safe storage of retort cages.
• Perform operator level adjustments and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Complete paperwork and touch screen entries accurately.
• Assist and train temporary workers to complete tasks.
• Follow safety regulations (GMP/SQF/OSHA).
• Operate forklift and Pallet Jack as required.
