Job summary

Summer Garden Food Manufacturing is seeking a Retort Loader Machine Operator for 1st shift in Boardman, OH. You will safely operate loader equipment essential to food production and follow GMP/SQF guidelines to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include equipment changeovers, area cleaning, cage storage, basic maintenance, and accurate recordkeeping. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied temperatures, with in-house forklift training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read and write English fluently.
• Basic math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate loader and changeover equipment in the retort area.
• Clean and sanitize the work area; store cages safely.
• Perform basic maintenance and document touchscreen entries.
