Job summary

Empower LLC is hiring a Retirement Service and Support Specialist to serve as the primary contact for customers transferring funds and accounts into Empower. You will own the transfer process end-to-end, maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring smooth transitions across multiple steps.

The role requires 3 years of customer service experience in finance, and FINRA Fingerprinting; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• With no degree, a minimum of four years of directly related experience is required.
• 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a financial service-related field.
• FINRA Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customers transferring funds and/or accounts into Empower accounts.
• Provide optimal service and follow-up to dedicated customers throughout the transfer or rollover process.
• Oversee not-in-good-order items and ensure paperwork is submitted and in good order.
• Work autonomously, manage scheduled customer appointments, and follow up on tasks and transfer items.
• Deliver personalized service and respond to questions with listening, patience, empathy, and proactivity.
