Job summary

Nova 401(k) Associates is expanding its sales team in major markets and seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to drive retirement plan services to investment professionals and plan sponsors in the Los Angeles area.

The role emphasizes building relationships, delivering compelling presentations, and maintaining ongoing client contacts while traveling for training and events. A bachelor’s degree and proven sales ability are expected for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Sales experience, preferably internal or external wholesaling.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Strong ability to build relationships and create partnerships.
• Knowledge of retirement industry products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify Investment professionals in assigned region to promote Nova services.
• Participate in point-of-sale presentations to plan sponsors to represent Nova’s solutions.
• Maintain frequent contact with key producers through on-site visits, seminars, webinars, conference calls, and other presentation media.
• Understand the competitive industry environment; identify and analyze market trends while providing recommendations and feedback to the management team.
• Build and service strong and mutually beneficial relationships with our intermediary partners.
• Travel to offsite periodic sales training.
