Job summary

Cetera Retirement Plan Specialists, a Cetera TPA, seeks a sales consultant to expand advisor relationships across the Northeast region (NY, CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, ME). You will deliver retirement plan design feasibility studies and sales support, helping advisors design, present, and implement plans.

The role emphasizes consultative sales, relationship building, and cross‑department collaboration to drive growth and client success. Travel to advisor locations and conferences is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in retirement plan industry experience preferred.
• Experience in TPA sales is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a disciplined sales strategy within territory to build and retain advisor relationships.
• Provide retirement plan design consulting, proposals, and feasibility studies.
• Meet or exceed annual revenue goals.
• Represent CRPS to nurture partnerships with financial advisors.
• Maintain a steady sales pipeline in assigned territory.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive goals.
• Public speaking at national meetings or conferences as needed.
• Document outbound activity and campaigns to grow retirement plan business.
