Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group seeks a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant to drive sales of retirement plans and cross-sell products. You will focus on new group takeover opportunities, within a territory, and report to the Regional Vice President of Retirement Plans.

The role emphasizes outbound outreach and relationship building. Responsibilities include setting qualified appointments, growing prospects, and attending client reviews to secure referrals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience with proven efficiency in selling and territory management.
• Knowledge of retirement products (401k and 403b plans).
• Ability to conduct outbound calls and build new client relationships.
• FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE or willingness to obtain within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Set qualified appointments with plan sponsors of 401k and 403b plans.
• Cultivate new prospects within a geographic territory and cross-sell solutions.
• Join client review meetings to position opportunities and gain references.
