Job summary

Trinity Pension Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Relationship Manager - Defined Contribution in Akron, OH to build and foster client relationships, explain retirement plan concepts, and support onboarding of new clients.

The role requires 7+ years in client relationship management with qualified retirement plans, excellent communication, and strong MS Office skills; the team collaborates across departments to maintain service standards and drive revenue retention.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of client relationship management experience with qualified retirement plans.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Log all email, phone, and meeting activities.
• Follow up on items necessary to complete annual administration and compliance testing.
• Participate and assist with onboarding new clients.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales regarding internal sales opportunities.
• Explain, in a clear manner, to Plan Sponsors and Financial Advisors the administration and compliance aspects.
• Proactively communicate with Financial Advisors, CPAs, and Plan Sponsors.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with Plan Sponsors and their associated Financial Advisors.
