Trinity Pension Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Relationship Manager focused on Defined Benefits in Akron, OH. The role emphasizes building and maintaining client relationships, communicating complex retirement plan details, and presenting technical information to sponsors and advisors.

The candidate will support annual administration and compliance tasks in a growing regional firm. Responsibilities include onboarding new clients, logging interactions, tracking events, and collaborating with RVPs

Responsibilities

• Proactively follow up all items necessary to complete annual administration and compliance testing.
• Proactively participate and assist with onboarding Trinity new clients.
• Log all email, phone and meeting activities.
• Proactively track and monitor all conversion events, administration and compliance events, and client communications.
• Identify and enforce all special billing opportunities.
• Document in PensionPro all Sponsor and Advisor interactions.

Trinity collaborates with retirement plan sponsors and their associated financial professionals in delivering a highly effective administration and compliance solution for their employer sponsored retirement plan.

What Our Relationship Managers are responsible for:

Operations Responsibilities

• Proactivelyandsystematicallyfollowuponallitemsnecessarytocompleteannualadministrationandcompliance testing.
• ProactivelyparticipateandassistwithonboardingTrinitynew clients.
• Logallemail,phoneandmeeting activities.
• Proactively track and monitor all conversion events, administration and compliance events, and client communications effectively managing your dashboard.
• Identifyandenforceallspecialbilling opportunities.
• DocumentinPensionProallSponsorandAdvisorinteractions(meetingminutenotesandcompliance activity)

Relationship Management Responsibilities

• CollaboratewithotherdepartmentsindeliveringTrinity’sreportsandanticipatingtheclient’s questions.
• Explain, in a clear manner, to Plan Sponsors and Financial Advisors the various aspects of Defined Benefit administration, including, but not limited to:
• Actuarial Valuations
• Annual Return Forms 5500
• Discrimination Testing
• Schedule SB
• Participant Distributions
• AFTAP Certifications
• ProactivelycollaboratewithRVP’saboutinternalsales opportunities.
• ResolveconflictsanddisputeswithTrinityserviceswithSponsorsand Advisors.
• Attendandparticipateindepartmentalandcorporate meetings.
• AssistotherTeamMembersinresolvingquestions,disputesand conflicts.

Consulting Responsibilities

• Anticipateclientquestions,problemsandworktowardsolutionsthataretechnicallyclearand accurate.
• Beabletoread,understandandinterpretclient reports.
• Scrubbookofbusinessforinternalsalesopportunitiesandcollaboratewith RVP.
• ManageClientexpectationsrelativetoTrinityService Standards.
• ResolveconflictsanddisputeswithrespecttoClientexpectationsand outcomes.
• ParticipateinSalesMeetingsas needed.
• Stayabreastofindustrytrends,marketand competitors.
• Otherdutiesas assigned.
