Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking a Relationship Manager to lead a high-performing service team for retirement plan clients. You will act as the primary client liaison, shaping plan design and strategy while ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

This role emphasizes proactive planning, education, and strong relationship management. You will navigate ERISA and IRS regulations, maintain relevant licenses, and travel about 30% to meet with clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retirement industry experience in a client-facing role.
• Strong relationship management with client rapport and goal focus.
• Solid knowledge of ERISA and IRS retirement plan rules.
• FINRA S6 & S63 licensing required within 90 days.
• Life & Health license required within 120 days.
• Willingness to travel ~30% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to retirement plan clients and act as the single point of accountability for service outcomes.
• Lead an experienced internal service team to ensure timely, accurate plan administration.
• Provide proactive plan reviews, education strategies, and guidance on plan design and optimization.
• Navigate complex client issues with effective resolution and follow-up.
• Present new products and services to clients when appropriate to enhance value.
