Job summary

Talent Road LLC is seeking a Relationship Manager for a premier retirement services client. The RM serves as the primary contact for Plan Sponsors and Investment Advisors, delivering consultative guidance and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

You will manage a book of ~160 plans, handle fiduciary files and year-end data, and lead enrollment meetings, with a focus on compliance, plan design discussions, and fee communication. 100% remote with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with retirement plans.
• ASPPA credentials preferred (QKA, QPA, CPC, or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of non-discrimination testing.
• Strong understanding of plan document provisions.
• Awareness of current legislative and regulatory developments affecting retirement plans.
• Thorough understanding of Client Service Agreement terms, including fee structure and scope of services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing meetings.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across a book of ~160 plans.
• Series 65 or willingness to obtain within 6 months from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of compliance testing results and contribution calculations; serve as client contact.
• Review fiduciary files and prepare points for client meetings; document follow-ups in CRM.
• Lead enrollment meetings for onboarding and ongoing plans; manage year-end data requests.
• Perform issue triage and drive resolution with internal teams; communicate outcomes to client.
• Coordinate plan terminations and initiate amendments; discuss plan design improvements.
• Explain Client Service Agreement terms and associated fees to clients.
• Maintain regular touch points with clients, focusing on high-revenue relationships.
