Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC is seeking a Retirement Plan Counselor to deliver on-site and virtual education for defined contribution plan participants and to support enrollment efforts. You will travel within Louisiana and surrounding areas while collaborating with the Relationship Management team to strengthen stakeholder relationships.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2–4 years in financial services, strong presentation skills, and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2–4 years relevant financial services experience.
• Strong presentation skills required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams required.
• Strong relationship building and territory management skills.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations within established timelines required.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate communication and education strategies by conducting virtual and on-site group meetings.
• Drive participants to take measurable actions to improve retirement outcomes including plan enrollment, deferral increases, and rollovers.
• Achieve business results and facilitate impactful conversations while meeting service level agreements.
• Complete reporting requirements including logging meetings, attendees and outcomes in systems.
• Build strong relationships with assigned key contacts, plan sponsor representatives and internal stakeholders.
• Manage meeting schedule, including travel booking.
• Provide feedback to local relationship managers about communication materials and strategies.
• Attend client meetings with other service team members.
