Job summary

Alerus Financial is seeking a Plan Document Manager to lead a small team, drive projects, and coach staff in retirement plan document expertise. You will partner with Compliance to ensure high service standards and operational effectiveness across the team.

The role balances supervision, mentorship, escalation support, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver quality client outcomes and associate development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related field or equivalent.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of retirement plan document provisions and use.
• QKA credential encouraged; pursuing considered.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to process improvements and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Ability to interpret documents and resolve issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
