Job summary

Alerus is seeking a Plan Document Manager to lead a small team of plan document experts and manage related projects. The role balances supervision, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality client outcomes.

You will work with Compliance and stakeholders, driving process improvements and coaching team members in a fast-paced environment. Competitive base pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment or through formal team management.
• Depth of knowledge of retirement plan documents, interpretation, and operational application.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities; strong problem-solving focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of plan document experts and manage team-related projects.
• Coach, develop, and guide team members; support performance management and succession planning.
• Provide SME guidance on retirement plan documents and collaborate with Compliance leadership.
