Gusto, Inc. is seeking a ConversionOps Associate to expertly transfer retirement plans onto our platform. You will validate asset allocations, reconcile trust data, and set up participant loan records before go-live, partnering with CX Onboarding, Compliance, and Reconciliations to resolve discrepancies early.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retirement plan administration or related ops.
• Strong understanding of contribution types (pre tax, Roth, employer) and loans.
• Advanced Excel skills for data validation, pivot tables, and error analysis.
• Ability to independently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own asset allocations during plan conversions, including parsing, validation, and allocation of transfers.
• Reconcile trust reports and legacy data to ensure accurate balances prior to system upload.
• Validate fund mapping, participant elections, and allocation logic for go-live readiness.
• Establish and configure participant loan records, ensuring accurate balances and schedules.
• Protect data integrity and support downstream compliance testing and reporting requirements.
• Identify data gaps and collaborate with client-facing teams to resolve issues before go-live.
• Ensure complete data collection and validation before plan activation to avoid rework.
• Collaborate across Client Success, Onboarding, Compliance, and Reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to automation and tooling improvements to boost accuracy and efficiency.
