Job summary

Gusto is seeking a seasoned ERISA and 401(k) plan compliance expert to guide complex provisions and high-risk plan changes. You will translate legal language into actionable guidance and drive improvements across plan administration.

As the escalation point, you will own QA for plan reviews, build training materials, and identify automation opportunities to streamline processes within Gusto’s payroll and HR platform.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in 401(k)/defined contribution plan administration.
• Strong knowledge of IRS and ERISA regulations, with excellent communication skills.
• AI literacy and attention to detail are essential.
