Job summary

Optimum Communications Inc. seeks a Retention Sales Representative to save and retain customers who are disconnecting or downgrading service. Each call is a sales opportunity to leave a positive impression of the Optimum brand.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Call center experience required; previous technology and/or cellular sales preferred.
Able to work in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment and meet Optimum standards.
Written and oral communications skills to a standard set by Optimum.
Proficiency with Windows-based systems, including databases and billing systems.
Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays.
Must live within a 50-mile radius of the Training Center at 930 Soundview Ave, Bronx, NY 10473.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate product and service knowledge while using high value selling skills to meet retention targets and explain value/benefits of all products and services.
Navigate multi-product billing systems to interpret current and historical information in response to customer inquiries.
