Job summary

Little Spoon is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Retention to own our retention lifecycle across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels. This high-ownership, high-visibility role requires walking into cross-functional rooms as the retention expert with a deep understanding of the customer experience across touchpoints—shaping what lifecycle should do next.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of lifecycle marketing experience with a focus on retention.
• Hands-on experience building and optimizing automated journeys in Braze (or comparable platform like Iterable or Klaviyo).
• Proven track record driving measurable retention improvements through experimentation and program optimization.
• Deep knowledge of segmentation logic, audience strategy, and lifecycle measurement—including experiment design with proper holdouts and incrementality analysis.
• Experience working cross-functionally with data, product, creative, and care teams.
• DTC subscription experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define retention programs across email, SMS, push, and in-app from ideation to post-launch readouts.
• Own end-to-end programs with segmentation, Braze builds, QA, launch, and monitoring.
• Design and run rigorous experiments tied to retention metrics (order rate, churn, LTV).
• Collaborate across teams to align lifecycle communications with the customer experience.
