Job summary

IKEA in East Palo Alto, CA, seeks a part-time, hourly associate to support fulfillment across sales channels. You will handle inbound goods, inventory accuracy, replenishment, order picking, and movement of products using scanners and IT systems.

The role offers a flexible schedule (20–33 hours/week) with benefits and a comprehensive perks package. Prior forklift or pallet jack certification is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
  • Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (up to 50lbs).
  • Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Move product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
  • Perform sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
  • Pick and prepare customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience.
  • Handle goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
  • Operate scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems.
  • Certify all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

JOB TYPE: Permanent, Part-time, Hourly Associate

HOURS: From 20-33 hours per week (HL2) // Benefits Eligible

SHIFTS: Fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends required; Work schedules are published one month in advance.

DEPT: Outflow // Fulfillment // Full Serve

The hourly pay range for this role is $24.72/hr - $33.19/hr.
