Job summary

IKEA Gruppe in Hicksville, NY is hiring for a permanent, full-time warehouse associate. You will contribute to fulfilling customer orders across channels, receive and verify inbound goods, and move products to storage or floor areas.

Responsibilities include replenishment, order picking, handling goods, and operating scanners and inventory systems. Overnight shifts 3:00 AM–1:00 PM are required; generous benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
  • Physical Demands: Lifting, pushing/pulling, etc., up to 50 lbs.
  • Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack) preferred.

  • Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.

  • Pick and preparing customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience.
  • Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
  • Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems
  • Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks

JOB TYPE – Permanent, Full-Time

HOURS – 34-40 hours per week. Must have complete open availability working OVERNIGHT shifts from Mondays to Sundays, between the hours of 3:00AM to 1:00PM


The hourly rate pay range for this role is $23.23-$32.82
