Job summary

IKEA Gruppe in Houston seeks a part-time warehouse associate to support order fulfillment and stock replenishment across multiple channels. The role involves receiving goods, stocking, picking orders, and operating scanners and warehouse equipment.

Expect nights and weekend shifts with a benefits-eligible schedule. The position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and strong teamwork within a retail store environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
• Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (up to 50lbs)
• Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Pick and preparing customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks

JOB TYPE: Permanent - Part-Time (benefits eligible)

HOURS: 20-34 hrs/week (PT) — limited openings for each

SHIFT: Retail Environment; must be able to work nights & weekends.

Department Hours of Operations: 5am-10pm

The pay range for this role is $19.96 to $25.45
