Job summary

IKEA in Norfolk is seeking a part-time store associate to help fulfill customer orders across sales channels, ensure product availability, and support replenishment with strong teamwork.

You will receive inbound goods, move products to storage or floor, perform stock replenishment, pick and prepare orders on time, handle goods with forklifts and scanners, and work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and replenishment processes.
• Ability to operate scanner equipment and IT inventory systems.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Customer service mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound goods and ensuring inventory accuracy at receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (storage or floor).
• Performing store replenishment following visual merchandising guidance.
• Picking and preparing customer orders within the required timeframe.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, stocking in/out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools.
• Certifying powered equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

What you'll be doing day to day

"Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.

• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas)
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance
• Pick and preparing customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading)
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
