Job summary

Aritzia is seeking a Senior Director/Director, Engineering for Retail Technology to lead the technical execution of the retail roadmap. You will champion how we build systems powering store operations and omnichannel experiences, ensuring scalability, resilience, and simplicity across boutique tech.

You will partner with cross-functional digital teams to reduce friction for Style Advisors and mentor a high-potential team within a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with POS hardware and payment processing standards (PCI/P2PE).
• Proven ability to manage large fleets of devices and peripherals.
• Ability to partner with Digital and other teams to deliver omnichannel initiatives.
• Track record in simplifying complex enterprise architectures for end users.
• Strong background in reliability engineering, automation, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of new boutique technologies and features.
• Define and execute store hardware strategy including POS, handhelds and peripherals.
• Orchestrate omnichannel integrations with Digital for unified customer journeys.
• Mentor high-potential engineering teams and ensure operational excellence.
