Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking an Analyst I, Retail Technology to provide ongoing support and maintenance of the company’s retail technology systems. You will investigate escalated issues, support POS and related systems, test software versions, and coordinate deployments in stores.

Responsibilities include data accuracy, troubleshooting escalated issues, collaborating with senior analysts, and maintaining OS images and deployment processes. Travel is expected < 10% with flexible after-hours support when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred in CS/tech.
• US work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Minimum one year experience with POS systems and second-level support.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Office, SQL Server Express and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Investigate escalated issues by gathering and analyzing information.
• Support POS systems, inventory, cash office, fueling, loyalty, and QSR.
• Test new versions of retail software and coordinate installation in stores.
• Coordinate with departments regarding data polling, capture, and rekeying.
• Provide second-level troubleshooting for retail system issues escalated by partners.
• Collaborate with analysts to identify and resolve bugs and enable new functionality.
• Test new business requirements within the retail system environment.
• Maintain OS images, deployment software, and patching documentation.
• Work unsupervised for extended periods and complete other duties as assigned.
