Job summary

Apple, Inc. in Cupertino, California, is seeking a Senior Manager of Retail Technology Special Projects to lead a multi-disciplinary team and drive the technical and experiential delivery of New Product Introduction across Apple Retail stores.

You will establish cross-disciplinary teams, manage Proof of Concept tests, and partner with hardware, software, marketing, and channels to deliver cohesive, globally scalable Apple Retail experiences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in Product Management or Architecture in a retail, e-commerce, and/or customer experience function.
• 7+ years of direct people management, including leading leaders, at senior levels.
• Proven ability to stand up a net new function and team within an existing organization.
• Proven ability to shape, conduct, and assess proof of concept tests with deep expertise in innovation and market assessment.
• Proven ability to navigate matrixed organizations and collaborate with business and engineering teams.
• Experience creating artifacts such as data and systems diagrams, product market fit evaluations, prototypes, and executive presentations.
• Experience optimizing workflows and digital experiences using AI and/or ML.
• Superb communication and presentation skills for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end technology to introduce new Apple products to customers in Apple Retail stores.
• Establish and socialize opportunity spaces to explore emerging technologies.
• Source solutions and conduct Proof of Concept tests with clear outcomes and actions.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver cohesive Apple experiences in Retail Stores.
• Directly manage and lead cross-discipline team, including hiring and development.
• Be the Retail Technology expert on emerging technology for Apple Retail Stores.
