Job summary

Verizon is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow career potential within one of our retail stores. You’ll generate retail sales through passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service, uncover customer needs, and present complete solutions.

You’ll also participate in training, help with merchandising and inventory, and may contact existing customers to expand the base. This role offers base pay from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus opportunities for commissions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedule known 4 weeks in advance.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn customers' needs by connecting and asking the right questions.
• Present product insights and recommendations for a complete top-down solution.
• Close sales using strong communication to meet customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Ongoing training and advancement in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Extend customer base through outbound calls and texts to existing Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community outside the store at Verizon-sponsored events.
