Job summary

Verizon Retail is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow your career in one of our stores. You will generate retail sales by combining technology passion with exceptional customer service, uncover customer needs, and present complete top-down solutions.

You will close sales through effective communication, and continue development via training while building a loyal customer base. The role includes community events and potential outbound outreach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known 4 weeks in advance).
• Open to additional shifts and higher income during peak seasons (summer, Nov–Dec).

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales using passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by asking questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations for complete solutions.
• Close sales with strong communication and understanding of customer needs.
• Develop through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Possibly reach out to current Verizon customers via outbound calls/texts.
• Engage with the community at off-site Verizon events.
