Job summary

Verizon is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to drive sales in one of our stores. You’ll leverage technology passion and outstanding service to uncover customer needs, present solutions, and close sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance).
• Open to picking up additional shifts to earn more income, especially peak periods.
• Experience in a commission-based environment is a plus.
• Sales experience and ability to communicate to find customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by applying passion for technology and delivering excellent customer service.
• Learn customer needs by asking questions and building connections.
• Present product insights and make top-down solution recommendations.
• Close sales using clear communication to meet customer requirements.
• Grow skills through ongoing training across merchandising and inventory responsibilities.
• Possibly reach out to current Verizon customers via outbound calls or texts.
• Engage with the community at Verizon-sponsored events to expand the loyal customer base.
