Job summary

Verizon Communications is hiring a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate to grow within a dynamic store environment. You’ll drive sales through technology passion, uncover customer needs, and present complete solutions.

Expect ongoing training and opportunities to engage with the community while building a loyal customer base. Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with potential commissions up to $18,000 annually and top performers earning $65,000+; compensation varies by geography

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant sales experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by applying passion for technology and strong customer service.
• Identify customer needs by connecting with customers and asking questions.
• Present product insights and recommendations to provide a complete sales solution.
• Close sales using effective communication to meet customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Continuously develop skills through training and cross-training in merchandising and inventory.
• Possibly reach out to current Verizon customers via calls/texts to grow customer base.
• Engage with the community at off-site Verizon events to expand loyalty.
