Job summary

Verizon is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Fontana, CA to grow sales through exceptional customer service and technology storytelling. You will learn customer needs, present top-down solutions, and close sales with clear communication.

The role includes ongoing training and opportunities to engage with the community at Verizon-sponsored events. Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with potential annual commissions up to $18,000 and additional performance-based

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Open to pick up additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events.
