Job summary

Michaels in Middletown, OH is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout. You’ll help unload trucks, stock merchandise, and keep the sales floor clean and organized.

You’ll engage customers with rewards program details, support omni-channel processes like BOPIS, and follow SOPs while upholding safety and store recovery. The role requires standing, lifting, and occasional early mornings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes; store recovery and merchandise upkeep.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties; support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact with others in a respectful, positive manner.
