Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to assist customers and fellow team members while supporting selling initiatives and maintaining store operations. The role emphasizes delivering a Legendary Customer Experience and flexibility in scheduling across varied shifts.

No prior retail experience is required, and candidates should be able to read, write, and count accurately. The position involves handling cash, merchandising, loading purchases, and occasional forklift/baler use where

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required; must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Read, write, and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate store equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Solutions, Add Value.
• Operate cash register following cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and mandatory freight process.
• Merchandise assembly, merchandising planograms, and price changes.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
