Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and team members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience. The role requires flexibility to work varied hours and duties across the store, including operating the cash register, stocking, merchandising, and caring for poultry as needed.

No prior retail experience is required, but knowledge of farming, ranching, or pet care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required; retail or farming knowledge preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service using the GURA method: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value, Appreciate customers.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Perform merchandise recovery and assist with loading purchases.
• Complete Plan-o-grams, merchandise assembly, price changes and markdowns.
• Operate forklift and cardboard baler (age restrictions apply).
• Ensure birds are cared for and poultry holding tanks are sanitized.
