Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a team member to engage customers and fellow team members while supporting selling initiatives and daily tasks to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

You will greet customers, uncover needs, recommend products, and assist loading purchases in a busy retail setting. The role also involves operating the register, stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail or farming knowledge preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count.
• Clear communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills are desirable.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as forklift and baler; propane certification may be required for dispensing (not required if under 18).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover needs & wants; recommend product solutions.
• Provide legendary customer service and assist loading purchases.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Perform merchandising tasks: stock replenishment, plan-o-grams, and price changes.
• Keep store clean and safe; assist with unloading and stocking.
• Complete documentation for duties and other tasks as assigned.
