Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland is looking for a Retail Team Member in Iowa to help run the store floor with a focus on excellent customer service and donor interaction. You will process donations, operate the cash register, and ensure a welcoming environment for customers and team members.

The role includes sorting and pricing merchandise, assisting with inventory needs, and supporting production goals. Scheduling varies, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Successful completion of a sex offender background check.
• Successful completion of retail training within the first week of employment.
• Building Pride orientation completed within introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and greet donors.
• Process donations and operate the cash register.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for customers and team members.
• Sort, tag, hang, and price merchandise as directed.
• Assist with inventory replenishment on the sales floor.
