Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking a Full-Time Retail Store Associate to accept, sort, merchandise donated goods, cashier, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role requires a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends, with a starting wage of $14.50/hour plus a $1.00/hour premium on Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Monthly bonus eligibility and annual merit increases are available based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or in progress.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Effective communication and basic math skills.
• Background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and engage with customers in a helpful, courteous manner.
• Receive, sort, and merchandise donated goods; operate the cash register.
• Maintain clean and organized fixtures and merchandise.
• Meet daily production goals and assist with store tasks as needed.
• Work with team to rotate items on the sales floor and ensure quality.
• Practice safe cash handling and balance the till as scheduled.
