Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking Retail Store Associates to accept, sort, and merchandise donated goods, cashier, and deliver outstanding customer service with our values of love, kindness, and respect.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, receiving donations, sorting and organizing merchandise, operating the cash register, and balancing cash while contributing to a clean, well stocked sales floor and achieving daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills for daily interactions.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and perform basic math.
• Be able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and engage customers in a courteous manner.
• Receive donations and merchandise donations to the sales floor.
• Sort and organize merchandise, and rotate items on the floor.
• Operate cash register and balance cash as scheduled.
• Maintain clean fixtures and merchandise presentation.
• Meet daily production goals.
