Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking Retail Store Associates to accept, sort, merchandise donated goods, cashier, and deliver outstanding customer service with our values of love, kindness, and respect.

The role requires a flexible schedule (days/evenings/weekends) for 38–40 hours per week. Starting wages are $15.00/hour with an additional $1.00/hour on Saturday and Sunday. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Effective communication and basic math skills.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and engage with customers.
• Receive donations from the public.
• Sort donations and merchandise.
• Operate the cash register and balance cash.
• Maintain clean, organized fixtures and floor.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
