Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store/Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and supervise non-exempt associates. You will drive sales, ensure policy compliance, and model Ross’s values in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include scheduling, payroll oversight, training, and maintaining store standards. You will work to deliver exceptional customer service while managing merchandise and safety in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of all non-exempt Associates.
• Maintain professional appearance and ensure a clean, easy to shop environment.
• Ensure scheduling and completion of all Associate cleaning tasks throughout the store.
• Lead in loss prevention awareness and inventory processes.
• Deliver excellent customer service at registers and service desks.
