Job summary

Carter’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lubbock, TX to lead the sales floor, greet customers, and coach a team toward exceptional service and performance. You’ll play a key role in daily operations and partner with leadership to drive results across the store.

You will help with scheduling, merchandising, and staff development while maintaining brand standards and an inclusive, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient with basic computer tools and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our great product styles, features and benefits
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers
• Consistently model service standards and omnichannel experience while coaching others to success
• Analyze the business and take action to improve results by communicating KPIs with the team
• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store team
