Job summary

Elder's ACE Hardware in Nashville is seeking a Retail Leader to guide store operations and sales, ensuring a high standard of customer service and cleanliness. The role involves daily leadership on the floor, supervising staff, and driving engagement with shoppers in a fast-paced hardware environment.

You will focus on stocking, routing tasks, and ensuring adherence to company procedures, with opportunities to train team members and develop personal leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail experience in a supervisory role.
• Available to work one weekend day per week and 1-2 evenings.
• Physical requirements: standing or fast-paced walking, lifting up to 80lbs, bending, pushing/pulling, climbing ladder, forklift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary leadership on the sales floor with emphasis on customer service.
• Always projects a positive, enthusiastic view of Elder’s.
• Helps keep staff focused on tasks such as completing Duty Lists, stocking, and store projects.
• Ensures customers are well served and staff are productive in the absence of store managers.
• Maintains at least one department at an exceptional level as a standard for other departments.
• Opens and/or closes on a regular basis.
• Stays current on personal development and training plans.
• Assists in training and enforcing the principles of store operations.
