Job summary

Elder is seeking a Store Leader to drive sales floor leadership and ensure the store is well-stocked, neat, and clean for the customer experience. You will mentor staff, manage daily tasks, and open/close shifts as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of retail supervisory experience, preferably in hardware or home improvement stores, and can work weekends and evenings. Physical tasks include lifting and forklift operation when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in hardware/home improvement stores is a big plus.
• Available to work one weekend day per week and 1-2 evenings.
• Physical requirements include standing or fast-paced walking, lifting up to 80 lbs, bending, pushing/pulling, breaking down boxes, climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary leadership on the sales floor with emphasis on customer service.
• Ensure the store is well-stocked, neat, and clean for Elder's experience.
• Open and/or close the store on a regular basis.
• Manage duties lists and freight flow to keep staff focused and productive.
• Train staff and uphold the principles of The Six E’s when assigned.
