Job summary

Boot Barn in Fargo, ND is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to collaborate with the Store Manager and lead a team toward exceptional customer service, merchandising standards, and sales goals on a full-time schedule.

This role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, interviewing, training, and partnering with district and store support to drive store performance, with a strong focus on community engagement and a service-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service & selling culture and exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Review goals with partners, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition of excellence; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Implement and maintain an environment of continuous learning and assist with partner training plans to improve store performance in operations and merchandising.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to adapt to changing business needs, adjust schedules, hire for the store team, and train staff on new policies.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to plan and execute volume-driving events involving the local community.
