Job summary

Sportsman’s Warehouse is hiring a Team Lead to support the Store Management Team and Outfitters across shifts. The role focuses on daily supervision, coaching, and driving operational goals in a dynamic sporting goods environment.

You will oversee team guidance, store operations, and customer engagement while ensuring compliance with store policies and ATF firearms regulations. Prior supervisory experience and outdoor retail knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a retail environment with a customer-service focus.
• Experience in outdoor and/or sporting goods retailers would be preferred.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of software/tools including Tomax, Word, Excel, Cisco phone system, and UKG.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly team members, providing guidance, coaching, and training.
• Support store operations and ensure policy compliance and efficiency.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and onboarding; resolve conflicts.
• Deliver excellent customer service, drive sales, and maintain store standards.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and inventory/compliance records.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (ATF firearms).
