Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and daily activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll/scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a stocked, clean store and secure assets.
