Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and front-end merchandising for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and cash handling tasks including payroll, scheduling, and deposits.
• Ensure well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom aligned with company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies, safety guidelines, and procedures; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
