Dollar Tree Stores in Collierville, TN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with opening and closing, merchandise handling, and enforcing company policies.

The role emphasizes leadership of store associates, loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked sales floor. Previous retail management experience is preferred; high school diploma required; part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits), and loss prevention.
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness throughout the store, restocking, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
