Job summary

Shoe Station in Duluth, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for a full-time role to oversee daily store operations and support the team. You will act as a key holder, lead by example, and help drive a customer-first environment with hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities include supporting the General Manager, opening/closing, training associates, and maintaining store presentation, cash handling, and loss prevention procedures. A minimum of 2 years in retail or customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old due to keyholder responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as a key holder.
• Support the General Manager in reaching sales goals.
• Lead customer service efforts and resolve issues professionally.
• Train and guide associates on processes and standards.
• Delegate daily tasks and coordinate breaks.
• Assist with visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Perform register overrides, safe/till counts, and cash reconciliation.
• Follow and promote loss prevention procedures.
