Job summary

Goodwill Industries of North Florida is seeking a Team Lead for our retail stores in Jacksonville. The role assists the Store and Assistant Store Managers with daily operations, staff training, and achieving sales targets.

You will oversee donated goods processing and ensure excellent customer and donor relations. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of retail experience, strong communication skills, POS proficiency, and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with processing of donated goods.
• Help achieve store revenue goals and budgeted expenses.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and revenue accounting.
• Deliver high standards of customer service to donors and shoppers.
• Help train and develop staff across responsibilities and safety.
• Process customer transactions at the register and assist customers on the floor.
• Organize clothing and merchandise on sales floors and ensure neat displays.
• Greet donors, provide receipts when requested, and document issues as needed.
• Report security concerns and help manage inventory and SOP compliance.
• Handle complaints professionally and escalate policy violations as necessary.
