Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role includes assisting with daily tasks, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the store meets company standards.

The position emphasizes opening/closing duties, maintaining clean facilities, and promoting a positive, safe environment for customers and associates. Part-time hours and flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
